So-called “hot spots” are generally characterized by moist to weeping, rash-like and sharply defined areas on the skin. The intense itching causes the animal to repeatedly lick the area, bite or scratch and scrub itself incessantly.
Itching can be triggered by insect bites, ticks, mites, allergies, wounds, fungal infections or a generally weakened skin barrier (including rain mange) through which bacteria can enter..

How does Manuka Vet "Hot Spot" work?

Honey has been known as a natural care for humans and animals for centuries.
Applied externally, it supports the regeneration of irritated or injured skin.
When the bee seals the nectar in the honeycomb of its hive, a series of processes begins within the nectar that leads to the formation of methylglyoxal (MGO). Methylglyoxal is known for its antibacterial properties.
Due to the unique combination of a special nectar from the South Sea myrtle and the climatic conditions in its homeland (New Zealand and Australia), the so-called "Manuka Honey" has a hundred times more MGO.

In combination with valuable care ingredients such as propolis, Lanolin, Calendula Officinalis & Helianthus Annuus, colloidal oatmeal and antioxidant tocopherols, the Manuka honey offers an ideal combination to soothe the skin and relieve itching. The regeneration of weakened skin is supported in the best possible way.​

When does my pet / horse need Manuka Vet "Hot Spot"?

Manuka Vet Hot Spot is ideal for dogs and cats - but also for horses - to care for irritated, red, weeping or dry skin areas.

Applicable to:

  • small and medium-sized “hot spots”
  • rashes
  • small to medium eczema
  • incipient dermatophilosis
  • skinf fungus
  • irritated, itchy skin
  • redness
  • small wounds
  • and much more.

Wissen was drin ist: Wir setzen auf hochkonzentrierte Wirkstoffe, um die tägliche Fütterungsmenge so niedrig wie möglich zu halten. So kommst du lange mit deinem Produkt aus.

Ensure the skin ar wound is clean and dry. Apply a thin film of product to the damaged skin making sure to cover beyond the affected area. Leave on to dry or remove with a moist wipe after 30 minutes.
Apply 2-3 times daily until the hot spot or wound is healed.
If treatment fails to alleviate the condition, seek veterinary advice

Für Pferd, Hund Katze und Maus

Dieses Pflegemittel haben mittlerweile alle meine Tiere (Pferd, Hund und Katze) aus verschiedenen Gründen schon nutzen müssen.
Jede Problemstelle war in nullkommanix wieder verheilt. Ich hab jetzt immer eine Tube auf Vorrat ;-)

Für Hund bestellt, für Pferd genutzt

Eigentlich hatte ich es nur für meinen Hund bestellt, der eine hartnäckige Stelle direkt am Ellenbogen hat. Genutzt habe ichs dann aber auch für meinen Wallach, der diesen Winter winzige entzündete Hautstellen in der Sattellage durch eine leider undichte Decke erhalten hat. Hat super geholfen.
