Supports overweight horses: ESS Metabolin

According to studies around half of the horses in Europe are overweight and almost 20% of them are even severely obese. These horses are at high risk of developing Equine Metabolic Syndrome (EMS).
The disease is triggered by overeating and lack of exercise and is manifested by so-called insulin dysregulation (often referred to as "diabetes") and a greatly increased risk of developing laminitis.

For EMS-diagnosed or generally overweight horses, a strict diet and a well thought-out training plan are on the daily schedule. During the diet, the horse takes in fewer calories from the feed than the body needs so that its fat reserves are used. Unpleasant side effect: The muscles are also broken down during a diet. In order to prevent this, a protein-rich (amino acids) feeding is particularly important.

How does ESS Metabolin work?

ESS Metabolin contains a combination of important, essential amino acids - including the BCAAs isoleucine, leucine and valine. The high proportion of easily digestible proteins supports the maintenance of the muscles during the adapted basic feeding and the more intensive exercise. In addition, the powder has natural sources of chromium and vital substances that can have a positive effect on restoring insulin sensitivity - the risk of laminitis can be reduced.

When does my horse need ESS Metabolin?

ESS Metabolin is suitable for horses of all ages and performance classes that are on a diet because they are overweight or have been diagnosed with EMS.
The high protein and manganese content with relatively very little added sugar and starch is also ideal for horses suspected of having PSSM,in order to support the muscles with high-quality proteins and trace elements.

Der Sommer kann kommen

Mein stark übergewichtiger Hafi hat im Winter ein kleines Bootcamp durchlaufen um die Extrapfunde von den Rippen zu bekommen. Dabei hat uns das Metabolin ganz toll geholfen. Er hat seit dem Spätsommer fast 70(!) KG verloren und ist endlich in shape. Für ihm war es allerhöchste Eisenbahn da das Übergewicht bereits Rehe und EMS ausgelöst hat. Dieses Jahr bekommt er ein anderes Weidemanagement damit der Erfolg erhalten bleibt. Das Pulver bekommt er sicherheitshalber auch weiter.

Mein Wallach hat es zusätzlich zu mehr Bewegung erhalten und hat damit gut abgenommen. Es wird gerne gefressen. Werde wieder eine Kur machen damit

Super Produkt. Es hat dem Haflinger meiner Nichte sehr gut geholfen.
Einziger kleiner Nachteil: Eine Diät dauert lange und man braucht schon einige Dosen um die Diät auch gut zu begleiten. Das geht etwas ins Geld, aber ist die Sache definitv wert. So schlank ist Nino noch nie durch den Sommer gekommen.
