For centuries, the traditional healing arts have relied on the proven power of willow bark with the latin name "Salix". The anti-inflammatory, blood-thinning and pain-relieving properties attributed to willow bark make it a popular home remedy for pain, fever, infections and general malaise.
Just like humans, horses can also suffer from minor infections and pain conditions that can severely limit their well-being.
This can be observed particularly often in horses with joint or skeletal problems after operations, diseases and immune deficiency, acute laminitis, after falls, injuries or severe tension.
ESS Saliforte contains willow bark which is quickly converted to salicylic acid in the horse's body. This is very similar to the chemically produced acetylsalicylic acid - also known as "aspirin" in human medicine.
The combination of willow bark and vitamin C is quickly absorbed and metabolized by the horse. However its depot effect is low, which is why regular feeding is important.
The anti-inflammatory, blood-thinning and pain-relieving properties, which scientific studies have been able to demonstrate when using willow bark, support horses with illnesses, general malaise and fever, as well as deer patients to support the sensitive blood vessels in the hoof.

Large horses: 30 - 40 ml per day

In the case of acute attacks of deer, the ration can be administered twice a day.
