Iron is a vital trace element for horses because it plays an important role in various body processes: Iron is particularly needed for the formation of red blood pigment (hemoglobin) in the blood and red muscle pigment (myoglobin) in the muscles.

Hemoglobin ensures, among other things, the effective transport of oxygen in the blood and forms the basis for resilient blood and muscle metabolism. The iron supply therefore has a direct influence on the horse's vitality and performance. Fatigue, loss of performance and a weakened immune system can indicate an iron deficiency.

How does ESS Haemo Pro Vital work?

In addition to high doses of iron, ESS Haemo Pro Vital also provides the horse with other essential trace elements such as copper, zinc and manganese. The high-quality ingredients can counteract nutrient deficiencies and contribute to increased performance.
Vitamin B-complex - including folic acid - not only provides important support for the immune and nervous systems, but also covers the increased needs of broodmares in phases of high pregnancy.

When does my horse need ESS Haemo Pro Vital?

The feeding of Haemo Pro Vital is suitable for preventing or compensating for an existing iron deficiency. An increased need for iron arises, for example from injuries with blood loss, operations and illnesses as well as severe parasite infestation.
But high-performance horses with strong muscular strain also benefit from the additional care in order to regenerate more quickly and remain productive.
Mares in high pregnancy and lactation as well as (weak and/or deformed) foals have a particularly high iron requirement.

Auf Empfehlung
