How does ESS Hepar Vital work?

ESS Hepar Vital contains natural ingredients such as milk thistle, ginger & artichoke and vitamin E. They are said to have an antioxidant and detoxifying effect, which can hprotect the liver cells and can improve the body's own detoxification function.
To promote the fat-carbohydrate metabolism in liver problems, ESS Hepar Vital also contains choline chloride, L-carnitine & L-lecithin.
A highly concentrated B complex supports the gastrointestinal tract, which is directly related to the liver. This can reduce the risk of mutual interference.

When does my horse need ESS Hepar Vital?

ESS Hepar Vital can be administered in the case of acute problems and illnesses to relieve the liver metabolism and promote regeneration.
The liquid is also of particular importance in preventive feeding: In order to prevent liver damage as effectively as possible and to support the entire metabolism, the cure treatment is recommended several times a year. Preventive feeding for 4-8 weeks can be helpful during the physically demanding change of coat in spring and autumn.

Due to its liquid form, ESS Hepar Vital is also suitable for horses that refuse additional feed in powder or pellet form. Horses that are already ill with a lack of appetite and refusal to eat can benefit from uncomplicated feeding with a mouth sryinge.
